I have had occasions (very few) where I submitted 8 or 10 claims on a single day. As competing rates are becoming harder and harder to find, when I come accross an OTA with cheaper rates for a particular hotel where I often stay, I’ll submit claims for stays within the following 10 or 12 months, some of which I will eventually have to cancel later on due to change of plans. Very frequently I will submit 4 or 5 claims on the same day, especially if I’m planning a long trip. So far I’ve never had any issues with the BRG desk.

The ability to BRG some thrifty rates at pretty decent hotels is what’s keeping me loyal to Marriott and Bonvoy nowadays. If they take that away from me it won’t be the breakfast benefit (that one can get anyway at the same BAR roomrate by booking L72 or S72), the odd one category room upgrade or the very devalued accrual of points that’s going to convince me to pay Marriott’s heavily overpriced rates.
