Used to be a good hotel but I just completed my stay there and it’s not good anymore. Location is excellent but almost everything else is poor. Rooms smell like smoke, front desk agents poor service, breakfast is bad, rooms small and need upkeep. Lastly they don’t really honor hyatt status, even as globalist was told no upgrades unless I paid cash rates. They had the larger one category higher room when I checked in (room wasn’t ready yet) but magically as soon as I brought it up at 3pm when room was still showing the agent said those weren’t available. So many better options in Taipei.
