It's basically for people who don't want to plan out meals or go grocery shopping, but don't mind doing a little bit of cooking. You always have fresh ingredients, and it's just enough to make one recipe so you aren't feeling with frozen stuff, veggies spoiling, etc.
I made the curry chicken & chickpea with naan. It was not bad and did not take long to make at all. Maybe 15 min of prep and then it has to bake for 24 min or something (but obviously you can do something else while it's in the oven). Basically by the time you oven is preheated, your prep work is done. It's actually less time than going to a restaurant (including drive time, waiting, etc) and minimal cleanup since they give you a disposable pan to cook it in.
If you want meals that are ready to heat in the oven or microwave, try sunbasket. I got them last year. The food is pretty good but I find their portions to be way too small for the price.
