You might have luck talking your way in using this wording, since it doesn’t state anywhere that you must be on the same ticket. I’ve gotten into AA lounges many times with separate tickets. In Spain I’ve found that you can often get your way if you’re friendly but persistent, but it only if you speak fluent Spanish.
Wow, nice find! Thank you. I can be kind and persistent. Speak Spanish, not so much. I will have this in my back pocket. I plan to give them my international tickets first, then the economy one. Really annoyed that we are in-between credit cards with a PP so that this wouldn't be as big of an issue (although I heard the Iberia lounge is nicer than the one with PP access).
