The NYS Thruway is raising non-NY E-ZPass tolls by 60% to equal the toll-by-plate rate (which is also going up to 75% above the NY E-ZPass rate). If only you could add a Hertz rental to your NY account, a NY pass would be the way to go if you travel that way frequently.
