I agree. The problem with blanket restrictions is that they don't really deal with the trouble makers. Those people will get around the rules. Ban drinking on the plane and they will get tanked up at the airport. Restrict service at airport bars and they will buy duty free. The people who are inconvenienced by blanket restrictions are the majority who behave decently.
