I have no experience using that service. But why not just pick up your own E-Z Pass transponder and use that? You'll receive a discount on tolls vs. using tollsbymailny.com.

Edited to add: Note that your E-Z Pass transponder must be registered (online, or by phone) after purchase, and the transponder will not be usable until the day after registration. So if you wanted to use the transponder for a drive tomorrow, you would have to purchase and register it today.
