I don't disagree in general. iI's a very beautiful island to visit and it is so much more than Pacha/Ushuaia/Amnesia etc. However my experience with IBZ is that it is disproportionately impacted as a party destination, even if those resorts are only a small part of the island. That can bring more than its fair share of alcohol issues or 'powder-driven' challenges.
Whenever there's a story in the press about an incident of bad passenger behaviour on a plane, it is almost always an IBZ or an ALC. Certain Greek islands make an appearance in these reports too.
I think this is partly a British issue - the bits of Ibiza which are more pleasant but also less populated by British people. This is no comment on the UK as a whole, but more about which specific sub-groups visit Ibiza. Yes, you will get the odd millionaire on the LCY route, but in general it’s going to be the under 25s who are better off than the ones going to Sunny Beach bht who still really want to party.
