Agree with checking out various products on the 4AllFamily website. I have used both the biogel ice block and the USB charging lid with a rehchargeable battery and have had zero problems. If you do not have a reliable USB charging port on board then maybe bring the biogel ice block, It also helps to keep a doctor's letter with you to justify the need for it just in case,
If you do not have a way to refreeze the ice pack or keep the insulin in a fridge then the USB powered lid is the way to go,
