If you have time on your hands then FlightRadar24 will tell you which aircraft is operating your flight and you can see its most recent movements and which gate it arrived at. Not 100% foolproof, but has worked many times for me.

Lounge staff should also be able to give you gate info ahead of it appearing on the boards/app also.
