Yes, during your 2 months ‘grace’ period you will get all Gold benefits, including the Gold miles bonus.
In my case, I was also given an extra month to collect enough (tier) miles to renew Gold (I was about 4K tier miles short). As I needed to travel during tha month, I got my renewal.
