You keep the benefits for 2 months after your review date even if you don't make it, but that's not gong to help you with a review in September and flights in December/January.
...and presumably the skywards mile calculation will also revert to the "silver" rate in December/January. I'm also being reviewed end of this month and will revert to Silver but with flights in October, so hopefully will get the "gold" bonus.
