A couple of Ideas,El Ciello on Burton way,one of the most romantic restaurants in LA.Also Diehglief(sp.-sorry)in the Bel Age Hotel.Neither of these are cheap.If you want to really blow hin away an early dinner at the Bel Air Hotel would be nice.If you want to knock him out with a view(providing the weather is nice)Yamashiro in H'wood(ok Japanese-sushi is pretty good)or the restaurant in the Getty Museum.
