The "good news" is that MCOL will probably award you the entire cost of Easyjet (rather than the difference) if VY insist on a voucher instead of a proper refund.

Then you might still be able to use the voucher, if you're ever inclined to give VY another chance.

It will all involve some aggravation and effort unfortunately...
