So I'm currently a Skywards Gold member and I've just booked flights in Dec/Jan 2024 for myself and my husband (Blue tier). Problem is I've just realised my tier review is the end of Sept and I'll almost definitely be downgraded to Silver. My question is: in Dec/Jan, when I'm actually flying, will I have access to Gold benefits (my e- ticket shows I'm gold at the time of booking) or only Silver?

So do the tier benefits apply according to my status when the flight was booked or when you actually fly?

Mostly care about whether I still have the extra 16kg baggage allowance and whether I can still take my hubby into the business lounge for free..
