Just received an alert from BofA for a $7.50 inflight purchase. I didn’t fly AS today or in the last few weeks where I could have made any purchase. Looking at https://alaskareceipts.com and searching for transactions from the last few months, and then reconciling them with credit card data, it appears the charge is from an onboard purchase from early August that didn’t post until now.

Is this something that happens frequently? How do business travelers with expense account handle this? If it had been a business trip, the expense report would have been filed a long time ago, without the expense because it wouldn’t have appeared in the credit card transactions feed… until now.
