I too was thinking of calling BA to see if I could change flights.
I'm traveling late April SAN-LHR-BCN and was on the A350 Club Suite until yesterday when I was moved to the 787-8 without the new CW suites. I now have to change terminals as well. The 787 arrives and departs from T3 while the 777 is T5. My connection is from T5.
Lost my club suite and a terminal change Fingers crossed that by next spring the 787-8 will have the new seats.
I tried multiple times and had a mix of agents and prices. Finally gave up. They insist on refundable tickets this isn't enough of a change to allow for no-fee changes... even though one agent agreed to it but suggested I try first online to avoid the service fee. The website said I needed to call customer service to make the change. This time a really surly guy gave me the runaround until he finally agreed to a small bump up, but said I should call back because he was at the end of his shift. Called back and was told it would cost considerably more than the price on the website, because "pricing is dynamic." This was b.s.

The most annoying part - since they added capacity the new added flight, with a better schedule, on my return was actually considerably less. But even if I did an even swap, they said it would be considerably more.

I finally gave up. Not enough to fight over. Found a way to turn the lemon into lemonade.
