Air Canada/Aeroplan account locked (Fraud issue)
Hello. My account and my mother's Air Canada got locked few weeks ago. We get the following message "We're not able to validate the Aeroplan number or email address and password provided. Please try again, ..." Called Air Canada and told us to send proof of residency by email. It has been more than 4 weeks and we can't still access to our account. Asked the reps how many days it would take to get it unlocked, one told me 3-4 days, another one 31 days. It seems like they are not trained enough. And calling them is a hassle, it can take up to 2 hours of wait. It's good they have callback. But imagine you are out of the country. You can't reach them by email.
Does anybody here experienced that? How long does it take it take to fully restore the account? I would really appreciate your help.
