Hello.

I have Diamond Ambassador status. I’m considering this property for a few upcoming stays in October.

Can you tell me the upgrade path for your rooms?

When I check I see “Standard” rooms, “Premium” rooms, and a Suite.

I’ve stayed before, but I cannot remember if those are the only room types. I remember the corner rooms, and from the pictures that looks to be the Premium rooms. I also was upgraded to a suite before. So if I book a standard room, I’d get a Premium corner room? If I book a premium (corner) room, I’d be upgraded to a suite? (Depending on availability, of course.)

If I book using points, do you still upgrade for Diamonds? I know that most IHG properties will, but there are few that do not.

Finally, I read a post from March in the Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Flyertalk that said the Skybar and pool is closed. I don’t care about the pool, and might not even have time for a drink in the bar, but I’m curious if it is indeed closed.

Thank you for considering Hotel Indigo for your stay.

We would upgrade our Diamond members from Standard rooms to Premium rooms. Our premium rooms are all corner rooms.

But if you book a premium room, it will not upgrade to a suite.

Using points for bookings is still able to upgarde.

And all upgrades are depending on availability.

We have a good news for you. Our Skybar and pool (both located on 29 th floor) are now opening. Skybar opens at 3;00pm - 11:30pm last order. Swimming pool opens at 8:00am-noon. 13;00-19:30.
