FWIW, United just sent a follow-up email urging me to choose a meal. I had hoped that maybe the new email was because I now had a choice (that is, two or more standard meals available); no such luck. Given that my first three choices were and are "Out of stock", what are the chances of one or more of them becoming in stock before the flight?
