Mexico regained FAA Category 1 Status.
With that it is possible for Mexican airlines to open new routes to the United States.
This will be an improvement for NLU/AIFA (Felipe Ángeles International Airport), because the airport will probably get more flights to the United States.

The new state-owned "Mexicana de Aviación" will start operations in December at NLU/AIFA. With FAA Category 1 they could also fly to the United States.
