Once you recline the seat considerably however, CX wins. I didn't like how the foot well is located to the side on SQ's seat. I find myself having to sit or lie down diagonally across SQ's seat when reclined by more than 50%. Unless you sit on the seat diagonally it's impossible to extend your legs . I had a window seat on K aisle so my legs had to point to the right when significantly reclined. Feels awkward when your back has to angle to one side even though the seat back cushion faces forward.
182cm myself, this is why I prefer SQ's regional J products over their long haul seats (The regional J seats however have their own constraints of course). I simply cannot get into a comfortable lounging/reclined position.
