I am booked on the same flight in Jan 2024 - so disappointed to see it swap to a 777, was really looking forward to my first A380 flight.

I don’t think Emirates has any compensation for equipment swaps unfortunately. Just have to hope it swaps back.

For lie-flat vs angled, I think the 306 economy seat 777 have the new lie flat J seats. Expert flyer is showing the lie flat config for my flight currently, but given it’s still a relatively small part of EK fleet, and we are still pretty far out, there’s always a risk of further swaps.
