This is your first experience with the quirks of OZ and its IT in general. My experience with Asiana Club is that it can take several days for status changes to show up. When I got Diamond I was in Manila and my miles had credited and I needed to have my card to get club access. Nice ladies saw I had more than enough miles but the system hadn't updated yet. They issued me a card right away and the OZ system updated the next day. The issue between OZ and rest of *A (UA especially) popped up at the airport the day after that and I had to use my AC status to get into the club. The ladies at the US office in LA have told me that IT (in Korea) doesn't process status changes (among other things) every day so delays of a couple of days or so aren't unusual.
