I bought my ticket on points (plus the cash I forked out for the taxes (yay living in Canada cheap airport taxes NOT!). I got an email from LOT plusgrade that I can bid on upgrades. I assume they will let me do that even though I "paid" in airmiles. It's 10 days before the flight, and I am just wading through the replies only to discover that I will not get a re-issued ticket, but should be available to choose the seat in the proper class if the bid is successful.
Bear with this newbie here, and keep your fingers crossed that my bid will be successful. I wonder if I should wait another day or two. TIA
