The Fordson Hotel (Unbound Collection), Oklahoma City REVIEW - MASTER THREAD
Decided to check out the new Hyatt in OKC. Bottom line: One of the best Boutique hotel experiences in recent memory.
Booked 2 queen bed and was upgraded to a Luxury Loft Suite (they needed 2 beds due to a wedding). This room was huge, easily over 1000 sq ft of space and maybe 20 foot ceilings. I will caution that this was an usual upgrade so I don't expect it on my future stays. The only room I personally do not want is a "light well" room where it has no windows to the outside but it has a window facing a "light well" (ie.skylight shaft). This shaft was once used to lower the Ford Model T from the assembly line located on the upper floors.
This hotel is huge in terms of open space. Ceilings are high and the corridors are very wide. It was a bit spooky walking to my room. The gym is well equipped and there is a Dry and steam sauna next to the gym. The steam room was not working or I did not know how to turn it on. The dry sauna needed a bit of time to get hot. A small pool is next to the Bodega restaurant and is more of party area than a pool for swimming.
FD was very helpful with explaining what is located on site and Glob breakfast benefits (served in the Bodega restaurant next to the FD area).
The area where the Fordson is located is developing and less touristy than Bricktown a mile away. There is a place call Arcade that have many old video game machines and you can play to your hearts content for $5 or buy 2 drinks. A very good hamburger and Pizza (Joey's) joint is just a few streets away.
When in OKC, this is the only Hyatt I will stay at. The HP in Bricktown is ok (except for house keeping which skipped my room on a 5 night stay).
Here are some pictures of the loft.

Omelet. I also like the breakfast sandwich option.

Water... this brand may go away after Hyatt fully takes over
