Another Avis DEN fail. Returned the car on Sunday, 17th of September at 6:10am along with about 5 other customers, we all drove sequentially into the car return lane. No one was scanning in cars at the time, and no one was helping us. Shuttle driver was the only employee in sight, and she said leave the keys, look for an email receipt, and we're all good to go. At this point about five to ten more cars were rolling in.

About 36 hours later, still no receipt in app, email, or through the web portal for receipt lookup. The website says to call customer service if no receipt after 24 hours, but when I called the agent said wait another 24 hours. The app still has the car listed as current rental. Unfortunately I did not take pictures, but I do have a hardcopy paper boarding pass printed at the terminal for my 8:00am flight.
