take a look at the hilton london olypmia - now my choice of hotels in London - not the poshest one and not too central, but pricewise a good deal compared to all the other hotels

as I don't know your exact dates here the price overview for October - the hilton kensington is usually also quite cheap but a bit over the olympia one.
