WZ v Austrian makes clear that in the event of a flight being diverted, it's the arrival time at the booked destination, not the airport that the flight ended up landing at, that counts. Though this was a cancellation and rebooking rather than an inflight diversion, it's difficult to see how a Court could reach a completely different conclusion when the facts are - as far as the passenger is concerned - materially the same.
