I bought about $1800 of the $100 virtual VGCs when they were on sale a few weeks ago to get the AA loyalty points and stack with credit card points - but not sure yet how best to use the 3X shopping portal bonus without a discount on the cards themselves. Would like to as I also have 3% back Citi merchant offer to stack. If anyone has a strategy they are willing to share happy to discuss. E.g. is it worth buying when there are sporadic discounted cards (e.g. saw recently some promos for I think it was 15% off $50 cards or something like that for DSW or Fanatics…and then try to resell them?)
