Yep. It's the same for Switzerland (and Iceland as well, IIRC). They've signed on to the EU compensation regulations. Although it's apparently tough to get LX to pay compensation.
Speaking of exEU (exEFTA?), it's usually the case that flying out of ZRH is WAY more expensive in J or F. I've got a exUK trip to SEA in F planned, as it was at least 3kchf less than flying J out of ZRH. That easily pays for a hotel room and CE roundtrip to do the positioning. Of course, I actually like visiting different places in Europe on my way to SEA.
