I have a booking (two connecting flights via AMS) with KLM and would like to use the lounge beforehand. I acquired gold status through a status match with Kenya Airways. I don’t have any points with them, and would rather not credit to that programme, but rather to DL.

Is this something that lounge staff are able to do? Or am I best to do this at the gate prior to boarding?

Thanks in advance.
It would be much easier if your booking involved only one flight. In that case, you could present your KQ status to enjoy all perks, and then prior to boarding, ask the gate agent/transfer desk agent to change your FFP number to DL.

Since you have two flights, I am not sure if, after having your DL number logged into your ticket for the first flight, you could change it back to KQ such that perks can be enjoyed on your second flight.

Perhaps other flyers with similar experience could chip in.
