If you had an international connecting segment, then yes, as a Flying Blue platinum, you would have access.
If you had been a Delta platinum, then no, it would not allow you access.
Regarding the label on the boarding pass, I think that’s just a programming error. I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me on the inverse. I’ve had KLM boarding passes print “Platinum” when I’m really a DL Diamond. I’ve also had AF/KL boarding passes print DL Diamond. Regardless of what the boarding pass prints, the system on the, backend knows who you are.
