I am staying at the Ritz carlton in November, will report back. Considered the singular where we have a couple nights in Patagonia but decided to keep it simple and go with the virtuosso option. Short 1 night stay at beginning and end so probably doesn't matter

Have decided to mostly skip luxury options in torres del paine and atacama. I dont want/need a guide to go hiking so felt awasi prices could not be justified, and the explora/tierra manadatory inclusive group guided options looked like expensive tourism torture for us. Awasi atacama almost had me, but the hard product looked unimpressive for price. Someone quoted me 900 for a day of Puma tracking along the road. Seems demand has lead to region treating guests like walking ATMs. Hopefully the beautiful scenery makes up for it
