I liked the Hotel Bristol - Poland's first elevator, and one of the few buildings that survived WWII in Warsaw - it's definitely an interesting piece of Polish history. Here are my pros, cons, and photos:

Pros:
  • Upgraded the night before arrival to a Bristol Suite - all suites showing as Almost Sold Out - Bristol Suite seems to be the lowest suite type due to it facing the interior courtyard - I didn't mind as it had a real shower and was spacious enough
  • Bed was comfortable - very plush mattress, plush pillows, covers could be a bit thicker but nothing that made me cold or anything
  • Furniture was comfortable
  • The cream and chocolate tarts as my welcome gift were quite tasty
  • Elite welcome gift breakfast is quite good - make sure to ask for the menu, which was not offered until I asked
    • Eggs, bacon, and croissants on the buffet are fine
    • Goat cheese, spinach, and ham omelet from the included menu was absolutely delicious
    • Pancakes from the menu with cheese and syrup were so good and fluffy
  • Told I was already coded for 4 PM late checkout
  • Liked the fun scenic elevators
Cons:
  • Shower pressure from the rainfall head (wand can't be placed at head level) is not strong
  • The morning of departure, the ceiling above the bathtub started leaking drips of water, which made the floor pretty wet - I discovered it around Noon or so, and Engineering did fix it - made kind of a mess, but Housekeeping asked if I was leaving or not, which I was as I decided to pack
I would definitely return here - the water leak was just bad luck and it didn't impact any of my belongings.
