The reason for this remark was more to point out that the housekeeping was little careless. Small thing but shouldn’t happen. When paying over 500€ per night I prefer that shower gel.
Why not just call housekeeping and have them replace it? I arrived once to find two bottles of conditioner and no shampoo; a simple mistake. One phone call and within 5 minutes they were knocking at our door with a bottle of shampoo, an apology, and a bottle of wine for our 'troubles'. I don't pay much attention to the shower gel, as I prefer the bar soap, but I would still expect the service recovery to be the same.
