Can you clarify what you mean by this statement? There’s no stopping anyone from pressing a button and converting the seat to a flat bed - unsure why the flight time should deter you from doing so.
CX doesn't equip all its flights with lie flight seats. On shorter routes, even on newer planes, business class seats are just recliner seats, so whatever button you press, you can't turn the seat into a bed.
