EDIT: I booked with BA online and my receipt says it includes one 23kg checked bag (evidently BA brought back online LATAM redemptions a few months ago) No reason at all to book with IB in that case. Thank you for alerting me to look into that. I was relying on a blog post that had incorrect information about the pros/cons of booking LATAM awards with IB vs BA which stated that only IB awards included a bag.
