Can I still access an SC on arrival?
I'm switching to American. Unlimited Admiral's Club plus 2 guests for net around $300-$400 after credits, plus I can fairly easily attain Platinum status which gives me business class lounge access internationally which I don't get with my lowly Silver Medallion on Delta. Hyatt cross-earning potential. Lots of shopping portal options. MUCH more useful points for international travel. AA has been upping their game just as Delta has been declining. I'd been considering switching to AA anyway given their Hyatt partnership and much more valuable/useful points but this just tips me over the edge.
I'll keep one Platinum card to get Centurion lounge access and SkyClub access the few times I fly Delta from here on out.
