That's disappointing. I'm guessing the refund was requested online and is now in a queue to be processed.

You could always try contacting them again and see what a different agent says, either by calling the QRPC number shown on your member dashboard, or via live chat and asking for a Privilege Club agent (if you didn't do that last time). They may or may not be able to help now, but in any case are much better to talk with about redemption bookings than the general reservations agents.

Unfortunately though, there is no guarantee that those seats would be made re-available for redemption bookings after your cancellation is processed. If you don't get any joy with a different agent, all you can really do now is keep checking for availability and to see if the points are back in your account (the points should usually reappear before the money reaches your bank account).

It's all a bit late now but in my experience it is generally quicker to request redemption cancellations directly with a QRPC agent than to use the online cancellation option.
