Pretty much every California hotel I have visited claims to be smoke free. But at most properties I smell tobacco or cannibis on the elevators, in the hallways, and last weekend on the balcony at an upscale Marriott resort. The worst is when it drifts through the ventilation.
If the hotels start assessing the $250 fines then it will have some teeth...
Venetian has all smoke free rooms according to the website.
