I would be very surprised if BA orders new planes for Gatwick and installs the old CW seats instead of the new CS. Yes, CW may be best for the Gatwick fleet, but they can't be around forever and eventually would have to give them up.
I was mocked at the time when I (half-jokingly) suggested a hybrid design for Gatwick- specifically as an idea for the 3 x 4-classes currently at LHR. (G-VIIV/W/Y) Bung suites in the F cabin or down the window pairs for those who want that and leave a family-centric layout in the middle. (Existing CW or a Q-suites equivalent) BA wouldn't be the first to offer a range of different seating types in J - I believe LH are proposing it for their new J cabins.
If the 787-8 or 9 end up at LGW any time soon, they may not get CS before being moved over. I expect the seats could do with a refresh by this point though, particularly the -8s.
