Personally i agree and would prefer the suites travelling with my family.
We are flying on one of these routes in feb to St Lucia from Gatwick.
CS is bound to eventually be on the Gatwick fleet, not on the 777s, but whatever the replacement aircraft is. Overheard the crew saying that they are to be training the Gatwick based crew for 787 operations.
I would be very surprised if BA orders new planes for Gatwick and installs the old CW seats instead of the new CS. Yes, CW may be best for the Gatwick fleet, but they can't be around forever and eventually would have to give them up.
