The main impact on 2MM status is positive, as Million Miler status is now #3 on the list of criteria for upgrades (behind Medallion status and fare/purchased cabin type). The other impact is that It will take longer to get to the next million miler level…
I agree it’s a positive for those content with their current DL MM level status and not aiming for a higher lifetime elite status level with DL. Let’s just hope DL doesn’t devalue the lifetime elite status level benefits, but DL being DL who knows when they will get around to that too.
