Tagging onto this for BA boarding policies for travel ex-UK.

We are traveling from UK-Croatia in late July/early August, 2024. My passport expires in early December, 2024.

According to the policies in Croatia, US-based passports (as mine) require only 3 months validity post departure date. So Croatia is OK with this. I contacted the US embassy there to confirm, and they responded that they've heard of some airlines having issues with less than 6 months, despite the Croatian rules.

Are BA good about following these policies, or could I run into issues? I'd prefer not to renew that early if I can avoid it.

If it matters, it's BA LHR-Split, Croatia and
BA Euroflyer Dubrovnik-LGW.
