Had two very pleasant flights over the last two weeks. I have to say, the meals (quantity and quality) seem a major improvement from my Q1 and Q2 jaunts across the pond.

Dinner/Breakfast service
PDBs of sparkling wine or water were offered. Friendly and attentive crew who confirmed pre-order had been loaded and thanked for being a 1K. Opted for the salmon (actually both directions and wasn't disappointed), it was flavorful and substantial. Frequent refills until I passed out after dinner and sadly before sundae/dessert cart. I happily got 6+ hours of sleep so that made up for no sweets.

Lunch/Arrival service
Fantastic SFO crew. PDBs of sparkling wine or water offered. The purser (Mandy) introduced herself, thanked for being a 1K and also confirmed that my pre-order had been loaded - the thanking isn't necessary, but it certainly is appreciated. Both the purser and the galley-assist were phenomenally attentive the entire flight. I really enjoyed this salmon dish. Having just come from time on the Amalfi Coast, I loved the roasted lemon and it gave the dish some zing. Managed to stay awake for the sundae this time (not pictured, the chocolate cake and cheese plate I got for a mid-flight snack). The arrival meal was a grilled chicken sandwich with (not so crispy but fine) bacon. I haven't seen this one before and thought it was pretty tasty.
Overall, a respectable performance by UA. We'll see how the possible course serving adjustments
hopefully play out next month. Side note: I love the new cross-body amenity kits! My friends are actively trying to steal them.
Grilled salmon with parmesean/garlic mashers, asparagus and roasted lemon (no garlic bread on this one)
Grilled chicken sandwich with 'about as expected' fries and a weird muffin side.
