I used to do a lot more flying in J on CX pre-Covid, but have now switched almost exclusively to SQ.

Would mirror your comments on the overall comparison. However, SQ will install new J seats that do not require “flipping” onto the 779s, and their current 787 seats as well as 388 already do so, IIRC.

What I miss most about CX is their lounges, particularly The Pier at HKG. Satellite lounges are generally very pleasant, too.

If an airline could combine the best of SQ and CX, we could fly heavenly. Starlux maybe, one day? One can always dream, even at an angle…
