Well said.… My factor is always direct flight first and if more then 1 choice, best time then if still more then 1 choice, I prioritize in this order. DL, AS, AA, UA…. Fly southwest maybe once a year so not a factor.
I don’t think my process changes, nor order listed, I like my Delta flights the best… AA is getting closer to AS in my opinion and UA is a distant 4th.. yes I am lucky that where I mostly fly, i am not stuck with United, but if that was my only choice for direct, then United I fly. And when I do, I am reminded why United is my 4th choice.
