This is a tricky question because of DL having specific rules for SM members for lounge access. I understand you are flying Y, otherwise the answer to your question is obvious. I tend to believe that you should have lounge access in the LATAM lounge, because you are a FB Elite+, thanks to the Skyteam rule. If you would have been SM Elite+, you wouldn’t have lounge access.
Please report here as this type of data point is important.
Thanks for all the suggestions & comments everyone. No clear answer it seems but some options worth trying.
The return flight GRU > ATL is next week so I will be following some of the ideas. I also believe the LATAM lounge has the best chance of success here but I will report back.
