I was born in Atlanta, and have been a loyal Delta customer for over 50 years. I've always flown them when possible despite cheaper alternatives or better routes. I wasn't happy when they devalued over 1.5M Skymiles of mine by probably 50%. I stuck with them though. The fact that they have now retroactively devalued my MQM rollover miles to near zero makes me feel like I just got mugged. Total bait and switch. They essentially clawed back all the rewards value of about $350K worth of credit card spend of my hard earned dollars, that could have earned me cash back or major rewards on other cards. It may be legal but it sure isn't ethical. I'll be cancelling all my Delta Amex cards, I don't care what perks they offer going forward. Why would I ever trust Delta management again to make good on them? All they had to do was grandfather in existing rollover MQM already earned to keep my loyalty. Now I'm just done with Delta, period.
